Kumamoto-ken . Terrain . From the four rivers. Kumamoto-ken Kikuchi-shi Meiji New surname by monk of Ishikari-ji in Shimizichi Shimizu town. Tell the fact that four rivers merged on the site, so in 1889 he named the place name of Shui. From another tradition in November 1986 the town council of Shishimachi decided that the place name of Shui water was named after the Shandong Province Jining City Shui Shui Province of China.
