① Ishikawa-ken Nanao-shi Origin of Higashi- cho. A place name with a record since the Edo period. The name of the place is believed to be from Mr. Hotai's residence. Shiga-ken Hikone-shi Kaneki- machi was written in the Edo era as "Hotai" in the Hikone samurai of the Clan Office. It is unknown whether the cozy area will exist. In Fukuoka-ken there is a transmission that Saga-ken got out and changed pronunciation from Nukui to Harui in the Tokyo period.
