① Origin of Chiba-ken Kamogawa-shi (former Tojo Township). A place name with a record since the Kamakura period.

Ibaraki-ken Inashiki-shi Originated from the vicinity of Tojo Castle (old: Tojo) that was in Shimoda. A place name with a record since the Kamakura period.

Aichi-ken Nishio-shi Birth of Dragon Dragon (Toujou) in Kira-cho. Tojo castle of the same place tells it as a castle of the Kamakura period. There are also reports that Mr. Kira called Tojo surname, Saijo surname.

Nagano-ken Nagano-shi Originated from Matsushiro - cho Tojo (Higashi Jou). A place name with a record since the Warring States Period. My last name also pronounced Higashi Jou.
