Mie-ken Iga-shi (Old: Ah · Ahai) County is a place name recorded in 672 (first year Emperor Tenmu). The place name was also written as "Aki", "Aku", "Yasushi", "Abe" and it was called "Aya (Aya)" after the Warring States Period. There was a family name of Mr. Abe (Ae) in the same age in Asuka period.
