① Ibaraki-ken Originated from Hokota-shi Egawa (Egawa). A place name with a record since the Edo period. Last name is recorded in 1382 (Yoshinori 2 years · Hirokawa 2 years) with "Ikawa" notation. Ibaraki-ken Hokota-shi Owada is based.

② Topography . From the river and the place to draw water. Gifu-ken Mino-shi Oyada is headquartered.

③ Originated from Ikawa-cho of Tokushima-ken Miyoshi-shi . Place name with a record since the North / South morning era. The place name was also called "Yu River".
