Miyagi-ken , Yamagata-ken . Thing . Miyagi-ken Ishinomaki-shi Meiji New surname by monk of Jodoji in Jodo Shinshu in Numazu. The first element is "Purification" of the Jodoji temple of the temple name, the second element is from "Numazu" of Numazu of place name. Numazu was a place name with a record since the Edo period. Tell the place name that Mr. Numazu lived in the Azuchi-Momoyama period. In the temple it is the descendant of the samurai who came from Shizuoka-ken Numadzu-shi and tells that the place name was originally called "Mano".
