① Originated from the vicinity of Shimane-ken Izumo-shi (formerly Shinmen (Kando) County). In the Asuka period there is a place name with the notation "Kobe" recorded.

② Gifu-ken Kamo-gun Higashishirakawa-mura Origin of Kando (Kando). Place name with a record in the notation of "Kanda" during the Heian period. The place name was also written as "Kobe".

③ Creation . Kagoshima-ken Makurazaki-shi From Kamikado of the gate division system in Edo period in Tagawa-machi. In 1767 (Meiwa 4 year), the name of a gate with the notation of "Kamonomon" recorded. Kamikado is also the last name.
