① Topography . Kagoshima-ken Satsuma- chun Satsuma-chou From the Matsuki gates of the gate division system in the Nakatsugawa during the Edo period. The gate name comes from pine and grilled fields.

② Kagoshima-ken Satsumasendai-shi Originated from Matsuki -shi, a poor character in the lower ranked town. There was a Matsuki gates gate in the same area in the Edo period as a division system.
