①The 薬師丸 surname. Kagoshima-ken Kagoshima-shi Shiroyama-machi was in the Edo era in the Kagoshima Samurai of the Clan office. 薬師丸 Yakushimaru reference.

② Topography . Kagoshima-ken Soo-shi Osumi Town From Syamoto Yakimaru in the gate division system that was in the Edo period. The gate name is estimated from the round land that worshi the pharmacist.

※ Kagoshima-ken Kimotsuki-gun Higashikushira-chou Shinkawa - nishi is also a site of the Yakumaru gate.

③ Fukuoka-ken Chikujou-gun Kouge-machi Originated from the Medicaru Forest in Uchinihara's underground .
