Oosaka-fu Oosaka-shi Hirano-ku. Oosaka-fu Higashioosaka-shi birthplace of Nagase-machi (old: snake grass). A place name with a record since the Heian period. The place name was also written as "leaf grass." There is a wave Mizogoso (Hamkoso) shrine in the same place. "Eating grass (Hamxa)" is the original meaning. The old word of snake is "ha ha". "Hub" remains as a snake's name in Okinawa-ken .
