Kouchi-ken Susaki-shi , Hokkaidou , Oosaka-fu .

Ooita-ken Saiki-shi Originated from Katata (Katata). A place name with a record since the Kamakura period. Go to Kouchi-ken during the Kamakura period. It was in the Edo period in Nagasaki-ken Shimabara-shi . In the same place, it was written as "Katakana".

② Originated from Katata of Shiga-ken Ootsu-shi (Katata). A place name with a record since the Heian period. In Hyougo - ken Awaji - shi Iwa - ya, say that the town was named after the Omi Hakkei and Meiji Shin surname.

Wakayama-ken Nishimuro-gun Shirahama-chou Origin of Katada (Katata). A place name with a record since the Edo period. Last name was also written as "Katada".

Origin of Tochigi-ken Ootawara-shi Katada (Katata). A place name with a record since the Heian period. The place name was also written as "Hida".

Kagoshima-ken Kanoya-shi Birth of Okazaki Kuta, Kushiro-machi. There was a Katata gate in the same place in the Edo period as a system of dividing the gate.
