① Toukyou-to Shinjuku-ku Origin of Yotsuya. In the Edo period the name of the place with the notation of "Yotsuya" recorded. Place names are also written as "four shops" and "four shops".

② In Toyama-ken Tonami-shi Takasu say that it was the fourth most populated house in the same place.
